Illinois Vs. Vanderbilt

Jeff Jordan has done a great job this half of moving the ball up the court at a fast pace.

With 4 minutes left in the first half, The Illini are shooting 60%.

The press is causing some problems for the Illini. We've been pretty good at not turning the ball over, but at the same time you can tell that it is changing the flow of the game and it has already caused the Illini to use a couple of timeouts.

D.J. Richardson stretched out and pulled in a big rebound there. To this point the Illini are giving coach Weber what he has been begging for, and that's 100% energy. There may have been a fancy pass or two that he wasn't the happiest with, but for the most part I think he has to be very pleased with his team's effort. 31-18 Illinois with 7:15 left.

McCamey just broke the press and took the ball end to end for a lay-up.

Jeff Jordan comes in and scores a jumper. Tisdale with an offensive rebound... Nice to see both of these things.

The Illini have been shooting the lights out so far. The best part is the overall energy.

The Illini have come out hot to start the game, and it's clear that they are feeding off of the crowd.
